I am attempting to get my hands around which software to deploy for which situations.
After Shot appears to me as presenting concepts and techniques without an explanation as to what they are as it seems to introduce the concept of meta data without any discussion of what it is or how to use it along with the lack of one click fix all commands that Paint Shop Pro has. It seems to me that other than the fact that Paint Shop Pro seems to be more for the beginner and novice photographer where as After Shot appears to be more for the intermediate and advanced photographers. I have read a lot of the manuals for both software although I have not completed either. I have upgraded from Paint Shop Pro X7 to X8 and bought After Shot 2.
